Film & Digital Arts Class Visits Matrix

The Film & Digital Arts class visited Matrix Professional Video Sales and Rentals with Sony rep Francois Doromy and filmmaker/PAVI instructor Andrew Forster.

The students checked out the Matrix Facilities and the new Sony NEX-FS100 Super 35MM Digital Cinematography Camcorder.  The NEX-FS100 is the first prosumer camcorder to offer a full Super 35mm CMOS sensor. This sensor is complemented by Sony’s E-Mount interchangeable lens system. This system allows videographers to attach any of Sony’s NEX lenses or, through the use of adapters, lenses manufactured by Canon, Nikon, Carl Zeiss and others, to the camcorder.
