PAVI Students Tour Sound System at Rickshaw Theatre

The Audio Engineering and Production students attended a Live Sound location class at the Rickshaw Theatre.

The class went through the entire system set up and learned about signal routing, FOH and monitor mixing. www.rickshawtheatre.com

FOH Speakers:
Two (2) flown Jason Sound full range enclosures containing:
• (2) x JBL 2441 2” compression drivers (1 per side)
• (4) x JBL 2202H 12” mid range drivers (2 per side)
• (4) x JBL 2225H 15” low frequency drivers (2 per side)
Four (4) Jason Sound JS-13 sub enclosures containing:
• (8) x JBL 2241H 18” sub drivers (4 per side)

FOH Power:
• One (1) x Carver PM1200 (full range enclosures, (1) x 300w mono
channel per side, powering 2441 drivers)
• One (1) x Carver PM1200 (full range enclosures, (1) x 600w mono
channel per side, powering 2202 drivers)
• One (1) x Carver PT2400 (full range enclosures, (1) x 1200w mono
channel per side, powering 2225 drivers)
• Four (4) x Crown CE2000A (sub enclosures, (2) x 1950w bridge
mono channels per side, powering 2241 drivers)

FOH Speaker Processing:
• Two (2) x EV Dx38 (one (1) mono four-way crossover per side)
FOH EQ:
• Two (2) x Klark Teknik DN-27A mono 31-band graphic
FOH Console:
• Soundcraft Spirit 8; 32/8 mix desk with meter bridge

Monitor Wedges:
• Four (4) x Yorkville TX2M wedges
(one (1) x 12” LF driver, one (1) x 2” HF driver per wedge)
Drum Fill:
• One (1) x custom EV mid/high wedge
(one (1) x 15” driver, one (1) x 2” horn)
• One (1) x custom JBL subwoofer
(two (2) x 15” drivers)
Monitor Power:
• Two (2) x Crown xTi-2000
• Two (2) x Yamaha P4500
• One (1) x Carver PM1200
Monitor Console:
• One (1) x Allen & Heath GL2200 24/6 mix desk
