PAVI Students Do Live Sound for Jar

On Friday PAVI instructor supervisor Ken Burke took some PAVI people to the Troubadour Club to do live sound for Vancouver rockers Jar.

PAVI applicant Gustavo Valderrama (pictured next to the FOH rack) worked the show and gained first-hand experience of working in the live sound industry.

“I went to the school for a tour and expressed interest in live sound. The career counselor asked me where I lived and then set up a gig for me five minutes from my house! I was shown how to do live sound on a big system and got to work with all the bands.  Jar is a very good band. Thank you very much for the opportunity, it was awesome.” - Gustavo
