NEWS Multi-platinum Hip Hop Engineer Visits PAVI

Multi-platinum recording engineer and producer Marek Forysinski lectured the Audio Engineering & Production students on October 26th and 27th.  Marek discussed hip hop  production, breaking into the industry and shared his experiences working in Los Angeles with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, DJ Quick, R. Kelly and Dr. Dre at his home base Skip Saylor Studios.

“Thanks for inviting me down to school. I like what you have going on down there.  Today there are a lot more avenues to work in the music industry than ever before.  PAVI impressed me as a place where students can get their foot in the door and make those crucial connections.  The studios are fantastic by the way; I didn’t know there was an API console in Vancouver. ”
