Live Sound Students Set Up PA for Benefit Concert
Big Joe Burke and his talented twangsters, Gord "Gorehound" Smithers, Pat Darcus, and Mark Gruft performed at The Russian Hall to help raise funds for Templeton Mini School, in East Vancouver, B.C.
Students from the Audio Engineering & Production Live Sound class set up the PAVI P.A. System and did sound for the event.
All proceeds went towards helping fund Templeton Mini-School programs, striving to ensure that all children have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular/educational field trips and activities. Funds will also go toward the purchase of equipment (computers, software, etc.).
Big Joe commented “I really want to thank PAVI for donating their time and equipment. The students were fast and professional. The sound was clean and punchy, just as we like it. I wish all gigs went this smoothly”.
