Session Drummers Demonstrate Drum Tuning and Recording to PAVI AEP students

On September 30 and October 1st session drummers Chris Nordquist and Boris Drazic gave lessons on drum tuning and recording in Blue Wave Studios to PAVI AEP students.

Quoting Boris “ When I was apprenticing with Dave Weckl, he taught me how important it is to get the correct sound out of the drum before you place a mic anywhere near the kit.  I find this is often overlooked by recording engineers.  We had a great class tuning and working with the drum set in the studio”.
