Piano Virtuoso Visits PAVI and Records on Rare Fazioli Piano
In early February American virtuoso Tien Hsieh visited PAVI to record her new album on a Fazioli Piano in Blue Wave Studio ‘A’. PAVI Instructor Supervisor, Ken Burke was chief engineer. Ms. Hsieh recorded on a ten-foot, $500,000.00 Fazioli piano, one of only several in the world that was graciously loaned by Manuel Bernaschek of Showcase Pianos, Vancouver, BC.

Rubinstein Award from Manhattan School of Music and a recipient of the Li-Ching Cultural and Educational Foundation Grant representing cross-cultural exchange.
Following the success of her New York Recital Debut at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, she appeared in recitals for festivals, colleges and universities, cultural and art centers across the U.S., as well as in Germany, China, and Budapest, Hungary, where she performed an All-Liszt program at the Liszt Museum (Old Liszt Academy). Recent orchestral collaborations include soloist with Gary Sheldon and Spokane Symphony, Frank Fetta and Redlands Symphony and Glen Cortese and Oregon Mozart Players. She has also collaborated with Houston Civic Symphony, Gold Country Chamber Orchestra, Sacramento Ballet and State Street Ballet.
