Pacific Audio Visual Institute has become known as the ‘Harvard’ of entertainment business schools. PAVI’s comprehensive one-year Film & Music Business covers subjects taught in music, entertainment, and film business schools.
The film portion focuses on film making, industry jobs, promotion, contracts, financing, history, tradeshows and festivals, production and more. The music section studies record production, concert promotion, contracts, artist management, music festivals, marketing and many other topics.
Film & Music Business is a one-year, three-semester program combining classroom, studio hands-on instruction, location classes and guest speakers. The program includes 12 courses that are modular in design, with four courses taught per semester. Students may take advantage of 1500 hours of computer lab time over and above their regular class hours. We also offer Internship Placement Assistance. Students participating gain practical experience in the industry.
